Baluarte de San Diego

My Girlfriend and I were left astounded from the complex design of the ancient stone fortification inside the Baluarte de San Diego. Now, made as a garden Baluarte San Diego is a very nice place to savor yesterday with its traces of history. Ambling inside can be so relaxing and satisfying. There are numerous plants inside that give every tourist a breath of fresh air despite the smoke that overwhelms the city. Located along the walls of Intramuros Manila, this place can offer you a glimpse of Philippine History…

  1. I’m still overwhelmed with being freshly pressed, bro.! Di ata ako makaka-post for this week’s challenge.

  2. Both the nature things and your girlfriend are very beautiful.
The historical things make us think a lot.

  3. Thanks for sharing. I like how they preserved the old structure. I always like to see images with a historic feel on them…

I just like the way how they build the buildings on the ancient times – most of them, if not, all of them looks so strong and solid…

  4. Those old walls not only are intricate and beautiful but it hold so much history of the our rich past. I remember visiting Intramuros once but I can’t remember those magnificent formations. The surrounding plants added to the already stunning structures. You and your girlfriend looked like you both had a wonderful time. I can see how happy you both are and share the same passion for adventures. Stay blessed.

  5. The rental for this place is 28,500 plus electricity of 5,000 plus 10% of the price of the caterer plus they only allow 50 AMPS of electricity so in case you are exceeding it you would need to provide a generator.

So for example of the price is like this:

    Venue: 28,500
    Electricity: 5,000
    10% caterer prices: 10% of 50,000 = 5,000
Generator: Minimum of 7,000 plus per hour of diesel which is about (500/hr*6) = 10000
If your bringing Lechon this would cause 500/pc of Lechon Baboy and then 1000/pc of Lechon Baka

And the grand total price for this venue is 48,500. And they won’t provide any tent or platform.

So guys and gals. What do you think? Is it worth it? Imagine if your caterer price is worth 1,000,000 and you get 10% of it. That is 100,000 plus 28500 for venue, 5000 for electricity and if u would get a generator that is 10000 which would sum to 143,500 just for the venue.
