Alumni Homecoming…

From its 30 years of existence, ,DUALTECH has proven its effectiveness by silently producing quality graduates equipped with both technical and moral formation. These graduates have been very useful to the society by playing different roles especially in technical industry. As one of the many graduates of this institution, I was able to make use of its endowed technical knowledge and the so-called values formation just like my comrades who utilized it as a passport to acquiring the job they have right now. Now as it celebrates its 30th anniversary, I was prompted to look back and pay homage to the institution into which I am indebted to.

On the 14th day of October, the Grand Alumni Homecoming was set ablaze by a huge number of seemingly ecstatic participants. From familiar to new faces, veterans to young and from successful to novice all combined into one to gather altogether, reminisce and have fun. As I observe the crowd, it suddenly twirled me back in time when I was just a struggling student of Dualtech. I can sense a scent of struggle and hardship on every face of my colleague. However at this point of time they were already victorious on their craft.

The program finally started with a bang and there I was acquainted with fellow Alumni who were Managers, Businessmen, Priest, Supervisors and teachers. For a moment I was surrounded by horde of talented people and I can’t help myself but wonder on how they reached thus far. These people provided us words of encouragement as they humbly share their own experiences on how they have traveled the road to success. Along with this, we were also familiarized with the Dualtech history via video presentation on how this institution started and survived through the ages.

The Alumni Homecoming was organized by the Alumni itself and the Dualtech staff through collective efforts. Though the task of tracking down Alumni who have lost connection to the school is quite arduous, still being consistent and persistent of throwing invitation has paid off.

Therefore, the whole activity was a success. It rocks literally and figuratively.
